Studium CVD povlaků aplikovaných na obráběcích nástrojích ze slinutých karbidů

Abstract

Master thesis is dealing with study of CVD coatings in their application on indexable cutting inserts from sintered carbides during machining. There is described the history of coatings, characteristics of CVD method, a description of the coatings process. At thesis are also summarized properties of CVD coatings for application to sintered carbides including tests, that are used in the determination of characteristics of coatings. Part of the thesis is its own experiment, where is tested on selected indexable cutting inserts coated by CVD hardness coatings, the thickness of the coatings, adhesion of the coatings and thermal cracks.
