Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of facility management and the possibility of using this phenomenon for fire prevention solutions. At the beginning it presents a comprehensive view of facility management as a discipline, its definitions, development and key principles are mentioned. The thesis also presents a facility management perspective on building management. The next part of the thesis is devoted to fire prevention, first a summary of the Czech legislation covering this area is given, and then the fire protection obligations that apply to operators are set out. This is followed by a summary of the fire prevention obligations for entrepreneurs abroad. The last chapter describes the software support for facility management.
