Abstract
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a scissor lift intended for lifting and handling loads. The thesis includes a review of available design variants of scissor mechanisms and an overview of possible drive types, which are compared in terms of their suitability for the given application. Based on the specified requirements, a structural layout of the platform was designed, including optimization of the hydraulic cylinder position with the aim of improving the functional properties of the mechanism.
The thesis also includes a static calculation of the forces acting at key points of the scissor mechanism and a strength assessment of the load-bearing parts of the structure. It also includes a strength analysis of the arms using the FEM method and the preparation of drawing documentation for the designed scissor platform.
