Návrh interiéru zasedací místnosti s doplněnou funkcí cvičebního sálu na radnici v Ostravě Martinově

Abstract

The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is the interior design of public gathering spaces in the town hall of the Ostrava-Martinov municipal district. The aim is to create a functional, aesthetically refined, and flexible environment that meets the needs of a diverse range of users and the various types of events to be held in the space. The assignment originated from a collaboration with the mayor of the municipal district, who provided specific requirements that guided the design process. The proposed spaces are located on the second floor and consist of two halls that can be joined into a single large area using a mobile partition. The halls are intended to accommodate approximately 60 people and are designed for multifunctional use—including cultural and social events (such as balls or senior gatherings), elections, council meetings, and physical activities like fitness classes or aerobics. The design also includes adjacent areas such as a lounge for VIP guests, restrooms, showers and changing rooms, hallways, and a kitchenette. Emphasis is placed on spatial flexibility, timeless design, and clear spatial organization that supports visitor comfort and operational efficiency.
