Abstract
The thesis deals with the issue of food waste with a focus on households. The aim is to analyze the causes and impacts of food waste, describe legislative and strategic frameworks, and, based on a questionnaire survey, identify possibilities for its prevention. The result is a set of recommendations aimed at reducing food waste and supporting sustainable consumption.
