Kompaktní fúzní reaktor

Abstract

The thesis deals with conceptual solution of compact fusion reactors with liquid sodium used as a coolant. The introduction describes the principle of thermonuclear fusion and its reactions. Methods of magnetic and inertial confinement are also included. The work continues with a description of the physical and chemical properties of liquid sodium coolant, its purification and equipment used in sodium cooled systems. The last chapter describes the theory of heat transfer, including criterions of similarity. In the very end, the prediction of heat transfer of liquid metals are made.
