Abstract
The master´s thesis deals with the issue of industrial conveyors intended mainly for the automotive industry. Based on the information and documents provided by the Fapros company, the design solutions that this company needs to optimize and better understand their stress-strain behavior and load capacity were selected. The thesis starts with a theoretical discussion of the types of conveyors used, describing their advantages and disadvantages, with a gradual breakdown towards the EHB type overhead conveyor and the trolley designed for this conveyor. The most common connecting and construction elements of the overhead conveyors were presented, which are then followed by the practical part of the work. The aim was to prepare the practical part on the basis of real drawings of the given task for Škoda Auto a.s., but to perform the given calculations so that the knowledge gained from them could be used in other projects of the client. The result of the work is the analysis of the connecting rod, MTH coupling and the breakdown condition of the carriage gear with the possibility of replicating the resulting knowledge in future projects.
