Abstract

This dissertation is about a design of belt carrier for transportation of persons in underground mine. Required capacity is 14 persons, the length of the carrier is 200 m and the angle of gradient is 25˚. In the beginning of this dissertation, there are few designs for the carrier. After comparison of all the designs, the best solution is chosen. In the next part, there are designs for all main components of the carrier, technological standards and their strength calculation. The end of this dissertation includes assembly drawings of the belt carrier, the driving unit and the braking system. And finally it includes the production drawing of the braking unit.
