Abstract

In robust control system design is necessary to include a change of parameters of controlled system. If we formulate these changes of parameters by using intervals, then we can talk about interval models. Fundamental mathematical operation with interval models of real numbers and vectors are described in the first chapter. Then there is deterministic approach compared with stochastic and fuzzy approach to solving uncertainties. In second chapter, the using of interval models in complex plain to making stability conditions by Nyquist criterion for systems with amplitude and phase as values of interval is described. Using the Kharitonov theorem for verification of control system stability with using of Michajlov criterion is described in the third chapter. Verification of control system stability is performed for closed-loop systems with P, PI and PID controller and two types of controlled systems with parameters as values of interval.
