Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with design and construction solution of detent mechanism for side folding machine. A mechanism will be used to stop the machine and to maintain the running track at exceptional natural events (earthquakes, gusts of wind) so that the brake mechanism besiege top rails of the tracks. Proposal of detent mechanism based on pre-specified F force acting on the jaw. Strength and design calculations are carried out according to specified literature.
