Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the questions of transition from contemporary coke oven gas to natural gas, consumption reduction, old steel structures reconstruction and use of new burner heating systems, new kinds of insulating linings and techniques of measurement. Further, this bachelor thesis refers to better gas furnace operating economy, as to heat recovery by means of recuperation of both air combustion heating, which is fed into burner nozzles, and air and water heating and to modern control systems of required heating and regulation of furnace heat by computer technology.
