Abstract

The introduction of the thesis is briefly dedicated to conceprion of modern boilers, designed for incineration of municipal waste. The crucial part of the thesis deals with causes of formation of chloride corrosion (high temperature corrosion) and also techniques to reduce chloride corrosion to an acceptable level regarding longevity of the device. In the second chapter I determine composition percentage of boiler flue gases and boiler efficiency using indirect method, considering the set fuel composition and exceeding combustion air. Subsequently, I develop a capacity graph of grate for various operating modes which is defined by minimum and maximum power. Then following part is dedicated to thermal calculation for two different configurations of superheater with high steam parameters, including drawings are developer for chosen variant and enclosed in annex. At the end of the thesis the chosen variant is evaluated.
