Návrh metodiky vyhodnocování signálů nespojité akustické emise

Abstract

The proposed thesis deals with the problematics of software design, which will be able to verify the localization results, obtained by Vallen AE Software Suite. The software packages, which are a part of commercially available AE systems for monitoring the burst-like acoustic emission, use the signal arrival time information for individual sensors in order to locate the acoustic emission source. The localization accuracy is however influenced by a number of factors, mainly by the detection threshold. In practice, due to the inappropriately selected value of the detection threshold, we can encounter gross localization errors. The author of the proposed diploma thesis therefore designed the algorithm, which allows to check the obtained data and, in the case of misidentified localization, to inform the user about the present error.
