Abstract

Prototype production is an important part of the development not only in the automotive industry, but also the consumer or electronics industry. Price and delivery dates of the first prototype parts are crucial for the contract to produce a prototype. This thesis will deal with the production of prototype aluminum molds. Specifically, the economic balance sheet of the manufacture of aluminum prototype mold. There will be dealt with the possibilities of production machining or electro machining. Specific cases will be assessed and designed the rules for using both types of machining.
