Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the diagnosis of wear of bearings in ski lifts. In the introduction of the thesis, the basic types of bearing damage are described using a school laboratory experiment. Based on a comparison of the different types of damage, a procedure for measuring bearing damage using vibration is then selected. The bearing under investigation is located in the pulleys of ski lifts that carry the tow rope for transporting skiers. The resulting measurement output is generated by a measurement chain consisting of a piezoelectric accelerometer, a data acquisition device, and Matlab software. The results are presented using frequency spectra by subsequent signal processing using a special livescript.
