Abstract

The Master thesis is focused on an employee selection and adaptation process in a chosen organization. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the existing system of selection and adaptation in the Siemens, s.r.o. and recommend proposals for improving the processes. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the first part of this document are explained important theoretical concepts that will be applied in second part of document. Practical part is devoted to the characteristics of the chosen company, including a description of the selection and adaptation of employees in it. Deeper analysis of the problem was based on a questionnaire survey. Proposals and recommendations that could lead to improvements of selection and adaptation of the company were based on the results of this survey.
