Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of basic street furniture elements for public urban transportation. The introductory part is devoted to research of individual street furniture components and autonomous transport elements, their applications, and structural solutions. The following section deals with the development of concepts for the aforementioned elements. Furthermore, the thesis addresses the preparation of design documentation, concept sketching, and the creation of conceptual 3D models using appropriate software tools. It includes the final design solution and visualization of the selected proposal. The concluding part presents the structural load calculation of a stop shelter and an appropriately conducted ergonomic analysis.
