Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the corrosion protection of steel structures suggestion. The work contains a theoretical description of the corrosion itself and corrosion protection by organic coating systems, the preparation of surfaces and application of paints on steel structures. It also includes experimental works elected according to ČSN EN ISO standards, norms that check the quality of the individual coating systems. Photograpfically documented coating systems tests are also shown here.The results of the experimental tests are evaluated and processed into charts and graphs. Photo documentation is a part of the bachelor’s thesis.
