Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the rationalization of railway wheel machining at Liberty Engineering Products Ostrava s.r.o., aiming to increase the efficiency of the production process, product quality, and reduce production costs. The thesis analyzes the current state of railway wheel machining technology, identifies key factors affecting productivity, and proposes innovative approaches for improving the production process. Furthermore, the possibilities regarding the utilized machinery, a new machining procedure, and the optimization of cutting parameters are evaluated. The result of the thesis is a proposal of measures leading to more efficient and economical machining of railway wheels
