Abstract

Industry 4.0 reflects the changes that all production, transport and society will pass and which will not be avoided by the Czech Republic as well. This work is devoted to the change of employment due to digitization. Employment is monitored from 2011 to 2016 in the field of professions that are the most vulnerable to digitization and in the professions that will most need to digitize the company. The results of the study show that the Czech Republic is not currently experiencing the loss of workers in professions endangered by digitization. For the professions most needed for digitization, there is a slight increase. For the time being, our company can not be considered digital.
