Abstract
The content of this thesis is numerical modeling of the flow in the intercooler filling line by Adjoint Solver to minimize pressure loss. The theoretical part deals with the classification and characteristics of heat exchangers. There is listed characteristic of intercooler. The theoretical part deals with theory of numerical modeling and Adjoint Solver. The practical part focuses on using theAdjoint Solver on the example knee geometry and on the simplified geometry of the entry connector for coolant, which leads to intercooler. There is also listed a description and a proces of numerical modeling. The results are evaluated by graphical form and in tables.
