Abstract

This thesis deals with the KOMATSU WA150PZ-5 front wheel loader new shovel boom modification. The first part of the thesis includes brief characteristics of the front wheel loaders. The problem specification and the suggestion of the result including finite element method analysis will follow. The thesis continues with a characterization of a proposed design including stability calculation of the modified shovel boom. The end is devoted to the economical explanation of a final solution. You can find the design documentation, welding procedure specification and the budget calculations in the appendix.
