Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the research of drum classifier issues and the design of a drum
classifier that can be operated by a skid loader and does not exceed 6 m in length. The first and
second chapters cover the theory of aggregate and construction waste recycling as well as the
theory of the screening equipment itself. The third chapter contains a research of existing
technical solutions, which is essential for a good design. The fourth chapter calculates the input
and output parameters required for the design of the drum classifier. These calculations are
linked in content to chapter five, which describes the development of the structural design of
the drum classifier assembly and its sub-assemblies. The structural design that results from my
thesis is suitable for prototype development and eventual market introduction.
