The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a condensate separator and filter for a secondary source of pressurized air. The introduction focuses on the theory of impurity filtration, the functions of separators and the required quality of compressed air in pneumatic systems. The following section deals with the theoretical calculation of gas flow in piping and the theoretical calculation of pressure drop. Furthermore, the design and calculation of the filters and condensate separators used is carried out. Subsequently, a list of the valves used is given and the clearance of the interconnecting pipe is determined. In the final chapter, the calculation of the pressure drop of the designed part of the backbone distribution system is carried out according to the developed diagram and drawing documentation.
