Abstract
The thesis includes an analysis of the issues related to mounted bale spreaders and a review of the original structural design of the chassis. Based on the identified shortcomings, requirements for a new design variant are defined. Subsequently, a new single-axle towed chassis for BL150 and NBlock150 bale spreaders is designed. The design includes optimization of the load-bearing structure, selection of suitable chassis components, and development of a new mounting system for the bale spreader with the aim of simplifying assembly and improving the operational properties of the equipment. The proposed structure is subjected to a strength analysis using the finite element method in the Simcenter 3D software, while the results of the numerical analysis are supplemented by analytical calculations of critical parts of the structure. The outcome of the thesis is an optimized structural design of the towed chassis including an assembly drawing and selected manufacturing documentation.
