Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the train windshield frame. The main requirement is faster windshield replacement than the current design. In my work I deal with the technical standart DIN 5566 and the regulation UIC 651, which determine the minimum size of the windshield. Various variants and designs of the shape and size of the windshield and the construction of the frame are described here. The work contains strength calculations and FEM analysis. Drawing documentation is included in attachment of the bachelor's thesis.
