Optimalizace skladovacích procesů ve strojírenské firmě

Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the optimization of storage processes at Femont CZ – Výroba OK s.r.o. The aim was to analyze the current state of warehousing and identify opportunities for improvement. In the practical part, various storage processes were analyzed, including labelling, handling units and equipment, as well as the receiving, storage, picking, production, and dispatch of finished products. Based on the conducted analyses, bottlenecks were identified. In the following part of the thesis, solutan were proposed to improve these areas of inefficiency. The first proposal focused on optimizing the storage of semi-finished products through the implementation of a new racking system. The second proposal addressed a more efficient layout of storage locations for sheet metal, and the final proposal aimed at creating a shelter for storing finished products in an outdoor area. The final part of the thesis evaluated the benefits of the proposed measures for the company.
