Abstract
KOLAŘÍK, M. Optimization of High Speed Steel Grinding. Ostrava: Department of Machining and Assembly, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, 2009, 50 p. Thesis, head: doc. Ing. Vladimír Vrba CSc.
This thesis deals with high speed steel grinding optimization. For the purposes of proper optimization I had to exert maximum care to choose all the particular parameters that have considerable effect on the final quality of grinding. In the course of the experiments I chose the particular parameters and monitored their effects on surface roughness and the grinding ratio magnitude. The high speed steel material was ground with cubic boron nitride wheels.
The results I achieved were used to draw graphs and I described them in detail through technical economic analysis. All acquiered and necesary data are enclosed to the thesis.
