Abstract
This thesis deals with the calculation of stress and tightness of bolted connection with gaskets made of graphite. For the product made to determine the tightening torque the leak test was designed and subsequently was also realized. Expected computational relations were adjusted based on the results of this test. The procedure was verified and subsequently applied for numerical calculation of the pressure vessel with cover. All numerical calculations were performed using the finite element program ANSYS 14.5.
