Energetický výpočet pohybu vlaku na vybraných regionálních tratích

Abstract

KAZLEPKA, Metoděj. Energetic Calculation of Train Motion on Selected Regional Rail Lines. Ostrava, 2022. Bachelor thesis. VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Transport, 2021, 47 p. Thesis supervisor Ing. Jaromír Široký, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis is based around a calculation of energy consumption during a train ride on a rail track between Studénka and Veřovice. At the beginning there are some basic terms that are important for this topic and there is also a definition of vehicle movement equation which is the basis on which the practical part of this thesis stands. The next step is derived from the line condition tables and track profiles which make it possible for me to construct a mathematical model of the track itself. Documents which have made it possible for me to make the model are explained in the second part of this thesis. In the next part I use said model of the track to construct four tachograms defined by the conditions on the specification of my thesis. These tachograms calculate traction effort, train power and energy needed for each step of the way and also energy which is being gathered while the train is slowing down. Because the tachograms are divided into steps that are relatively small we can watch the energy balance over the course of the whole track and determine the final quantity of energy used or gained. Tachograms and track profiles are provided in the attachments of this thesis.
