Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with optimalization of the Welding Process in the Car Industry. Specifically, it is welding parts of car axle. The introductory part describes the current situation in the automotive industry. The next part discusses the most frequently used methods of welding in the automotive industry and defects that arise during the welding process. The experimental part is focused on the evaluation of the quality of the welded joints created before and after optimization. It was first carried out a visual assessment of the quality of welded joints and, subsequently, macroscopic examination and microscopic examination. All assessment is complemented by photographs of the respective welded joints. The final part of the bachelor thesis describes the causes of pores, and possible way of optimization.
