Abstract
The thesis deals with the design and construction of a 3D printed finger set for application in post-operative conditions. In the beginning of the thesis, a research is made according to the type of orthoses in finger healing. After gaining experience of the search and consulting with the supervisors, preliminary sketches of the shape of the finger sets were made. From the proposed sketches, the most suitable ones were selected after consultation and were gradually developed and modified in CAD software.
The selected solutions are further processed in the CAD software Rhino 7. Test series are printed on a smaller scale to test the functionality of the whole. Once all elements have been tested and approved by the supervisors, we print the final fully 3D printed orthosis paid for by the Student Grant Competition. Towards the end of the thesis, I created a somatography of the finger, coupled with instructions for modeling the brace and its subsequent visualization.
