Vliv mechanických vlastností pelet na tvorbu emisí při spalování

Abstract

ČECH, D. Effect of Pellets Mechanical Properties on Combustion Emissions: Master Thesis. Ostrava: VSB – TUO, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Power Engineering, 2024, 74 p. Thesis head: Jezerska, L. The diploma thesis deals with the investigation of the effect of pellet length on the production of suspended particulate emissions (PM). It is divided into 3 parts - theoretical, practical, and structural. The theoretical part focuses on biomass, its distribution, processing, and utilization. It also addresses biomass properties, the formation of gaseous and solid emissions, methods of measuring PM emissions, and the influence of mechanical properties on PM production. The practical part is devoted to sample preparation, pellet characterization with input material, their comparison, pellet sorting, and the chemical-thermal properties of red fescue pellets compared to other biomass. The progress and evaluation of combustion tests are provided. Subsequently, the work focuses on the structural part, in which a model of the pellet sorter according to length is created.
