Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of experimentally progressive technologies for heat treatment of stainless austenitic steel. The introduction of the diploma thesis describes the methods of heat treatment technology. The next part of the diploma thesis is an analysis of conventional heat treatment equipment with a description of the types of furnaces for heat treatment and their operating specifications. The next level of the work carries an analysis of a narrow part of the selected progressive applications of heat treatment of metals. The practical part of this diploma thesis is the experimental and progressive use of thermal industrial equipment for heat treatment of austenitic stainless steel. The thermal equipment operates in its own continuous production with a possible promising diversification of the technology of solution annealing of austenitic stainless steels. The determination and composition of the results obtained from individual heat treatments on the designed samples is evaluated metallographically. The evaluation of the practical part of the diploma thesis is in accordance with the ASTM E112 standard.
