Abstract
This work is being processed a sensing unit control system usable in the petrochemical industry. The first part discusses the requirements placed on equipment residing in the specific environment of petrochemical production and sets out the measures necessary to meet
them. The work also describes the production of a real model of the scanning unit, including the possibilities of realization of some parts. Several control algorithms, whose function is simulated on a mathematical model, are created in the course of the thesis. The simulation results are transferred from the numerical computing environment MATLAB - Simulink to the real model on which the simulation results are verified. The result of the work is the evaluation of the best implemented control system
