Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of replacing an old, inefficient and unecological boiler in a detached house for a new one, which will be efficient and environmentally friendly. Part of this thesis is to get acquainted with the issue of home heating. Possibilities of available technologies for heating and their mutual comparison. The thesis describes the current state of the house and combustion equipment and their changes over the years. The annual costs for heating and hot water in the house are also listed. The design of the new source is based on calculations of heat losses of the house and the requirements of the homeowner for the equipment. The aim of the work is to design an optimal solution for a new method of heating and domestic hot water in a detached house.
