Abstract

Master thesis deals with software support for production control in a manufacturing plant. The introduction describes organization structure of a manufacturing plant with focus on production process. Analysis of information systems general principles in production of electric motors and description of actual methods for production data and documentation presentation follows, focused on particular workplace with commentary regarding disadvantages of current state. On the basis of the analysis is suggested modified documentation control system, which makes some support processes semi-automatic and gives ergonomic and compact summary of information in one spot.
