Abstract
This thesis deals with the creation of 1-D simulation model of the historic racing car and its experimental verification. The first part is a theoretical analysis of the internal combustion engines function, description of the engine, which will be a model for the creation of a simulation model and a summary of the adjustments that were made to the serial engine. Another part is focused on creating simulation model of the engine, the definition of individual components and their settings. The final part is the evaluation of simulation results, comparing them with the results of experimental measurements carried out on the actual vehicle and propose modifications to the internal combustion engine.
