Abstract
This Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a Double-shoe Brake of Crane Travel. In the first part market research including other kinds of breaks is carried out and the function of the proposed solution of the break described.
In the second part the proper design, calculation and testing are researched. The brake is designed so as the function and the construction wouldn´t be too complicated.
