Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis and design of garden furniture, with an emphasis on its construction and strength control. It discusses various types of garden sets and materials used in their production. Subsequently, a custom design solution for a garden set with an extending table and a bench with an adjustable backrest is proposed. The main part of the thesis focuses on conducting strength analyses of critical points, using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and analytical methods. Modifications to the design based on the conducted analyses are then proposed. The result of the thesis is a successfully designed and constructed garden set.
