ANNOTATION OF BACHELOR THESIS

The bachelor thesis deals with the historical, structural and technological development of AK assault rifles. The introduction contains a definition of the assault rifle and a brief description of the AK, as well as its history. The next part introduces the circumstances of the origin of the new cartridge, its evolution, construction and parameters. There is a detailed description of AKM construction, a list of Kalashnikov rifles produced in Russia and their modifications, and an evaluation of technological and structural development of weapons. The appendix includes a cyclogram of the rifle, which is based on measurements, and a functional diagram with appropriate visual documentation. In the conclusion the weapon is compared with similar products in the world and there is an evaluation of its general benefit.
