Abstract
This thesis describes the design and development of the mobile application to control Sphero robotic ball. This application is designed to measure and record the distance achieved. The thesis describes the different parts of a robotic ball and its control functions, using several criteria compares already available applications for robotic ball, describes possibilities for development of a software for the mobile devices and development of own application for robotic ball. The own application is described using UML and used design methods are defined in separate chapters. Last part of the thesis presents results of the experimental measurements of the robotic ball’s movement.
