Goal of my bachelor thesis is to investigate an effect of Chip Breakers on the individual components of cutting force during machining of steel. During this work, replaceable inserts from ISCAR were used. The main part of this thesis describes all sections of the experiment, the used equipment, the cutting machine, tools and the cutting parameters for machining. The measurement of the cutting force components and the structural equation follows. The conclusion concerns the summary of obtained results.
