Abstract
The thesis deals with the determination of the influence of cutting edge radius on the progression of wear and durability of cutting tools during machining. The introduction describes the current machinig of aluminium and aluminium alloys, process and productivity machining and subsequent possible consequences tool wear when machinig aluminium. Furthermore, it is then in the theoretical part of work clearly describes technology and process roundness cutting edge of the cutting tool. The experimental part of work is focused on the machining of aluminium alloy AW-2014 cutting tool with a different cutting edge roundness radius VBD and influence of technological parameters of machining on course and size of wear of cutting tools. For evaluation of experimental activities was also elected parameter of surface integrity, and it roughness of machined surface and shape leaving chips.
