Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with mounting of a xenon lamp to a car spotlight. The theses is divided into two parts. Theoretic part is examines a wide range of generally available lamps and specializes on kinds of their mounts and overall description of their light modules. Practical part of this thesis contains lamp designs, which I eventually compared with already established mounts. The goal of this thesis is to design several types of lamp mounts which will not be limited by patents. These designed lamp mounts designs were subsequently compared to ones available on the market, including those designed by Hella company or their rivals.
