Abstract

The implementation of certified quality management system and environmental management system, thus integrated management system, is one of priorities of top management in company, which this bachelor thesis is accomplished. The aim of this study is to analyze weaknesses in current management system of company, create recommendations for eliminations of these weaknesses and propose an action plan, which will lead to certification of both systems in given time. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes the history of standards designed for the quality management system and environmental management system, possibilities of systems integration, the benefits of an integrated management system and recommended procedure for the implementation of the integrated management system. The practical part presents analyzed company. Analysis is conducted in this part as well as recommendations and the action plan. In conclusion, the feasibility of the company's intention to certify integrated management system in a given time is assessed.
