Abstract

The thesis focuses on the design of a production technology for a hot air nozzle, which is part of a production line for manufacturing packaging materials. The aim of the thesis is to design a production technology that ensures the required quality of the component, economic efficiency and technological feasibility of production. The work includes the selection of a suitable blank, the design of heat treatment and the selection of machining strategies. Furthermore, the possible manufacturing options are discussed and the most suitable option is selected based on technological feasibility. The design includes fixture designs, CNC programming and fixture design. A sketch of the hot air nozzle and a production drawing of the fixture are appendices to the thesis. The outcome of the thesis is a comprehensive design of the production technology including necessary document for its implementation in production.
