Abstract

This thesis deals with product design drum chipper, specifically cutting adapter attached to the drive unit. In the introduction is made familiarzation with the drum moover machine, principle of work and purpose of cutting. Following is a brief overview of a producers on the Czech market andcomparing the technical and performance parameters of machines Vari. As next is solved the cutting drum chipper - in our case, belt driven - design and calculation of belt drive, the control of the main pen joints , calculation of the output shaft and the frictional force required to transfer torque to the cutting drum. As an attachment of the bachelor thesis there are assembly drawing of a drum chipper and manufacturing drawing of the output shaft.
