Bachelor's thesis deals with the technology of hardening of instrumental steel knives, with the deformation control and their subsequent straightening. In the introduction is described the company, where was the heat treatment made and theoretical methodology of heat treatment. Next point describes technological procedure of knives production before heat treatment and the actual process of heat treatment. From the running of technological procedure was designed the methodology of straightening and possibilities of knives camber prevention due to heat treatment.
