Abstract
The main goal of the thesis is to streamline the purchase system in cost center
320 – Steel plant of company VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY, Ltd.
and by methods and tools of purchase marketing to suggest an approach to improve quality of information and communication streams. The thesis is divided to theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes a purchasing as a basic process
in company in case of its planning, organization and control. Purchase marketing
with specified marketing mix and the basis of SWOT analysis make theoretical knowledge core needed for right interpretation of the thesis. Practical part contains comprehensive analysis of purchase process in company VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY, Ltd. The outcome of the analysis creates a basis for suggestion
to streamline of purchasing system.
